$15.00

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain unsweetened kefir
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or thawed
  • 1/2 cup water or low-sodium bone broth (no onion or garlic)
Pantry safety check: no xylitol, grapes, raisins, onion, garlic, chocolate or macadamia nuts. Always check labels on broths and nut butters.

Method

  1. Mash the blueberries lightly with a fork.
  2. Stir in the kefir and water or broth.
  3. Pour into the Popsicle Mold. The framed edge keeps spills in check on the way to the freezer.
  4. Freeze for at least 5 hours, then pop one out and serve outdoors.

Why it's good for them

Cooling and hydrating, with kefir's live cultures and a little antioxidant-rich fruit.

Storage
