Bone Broth Pupsicles
A cold, slow lick for hot days. Broth adds flavour and a little extra water to your dog's routine, and freezing it turns a snack into several minutes of calm, focused licking.

Serve it as: Hand-fed treat · Lick mat

Ingredients
- 1 cup low-sodium bone broth (no onion or garlic)
- 1/4 cup plain pumpkin purée (not pie filling)
- 2 tbsp plain unsweetened kefir or yogurt
- A handful of blueberries, halved for small dogs
Method
- Whisk the broth, pumpkin and kefir together until smooth.
- Drop a few blueberries into each bone of the Popsicle Mold, then pour the mix over the top. The framed edge keeps spills in check on the way to the freezer.
- For a pupsicle with a handle, stand a dog-safe edible chew stick in each bone.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Flex the silicone to pop one out. Serve outside or on a lick mat, and supervise while they work at it.
Why it's good for them
Extra moisture on hot days, gentle fibre from pumpkin, and a slow lick that helps pups settle.
Storage
Move frozen bones to a sealed freezer bag and use within a few weeks.
